For your first ride please arrive 10 minutes early. You will need to fill out a waiver form and I will give you a well explained proper bike set up and instruction on what to expect on your first ride.
I do not have a beginner class, however, all classes should be performed at your own fitness level. I know beginning any new program can be daunting, but that's what makes cycling such a perfect and fun workout. You are in total control of the entire class, as you become stronger, you begin to challenge yourself more and more. I'll make sure that your settings are correct and easy for you to set on your own. I will also make sure you understand the "lingo" of a cycling class, and that you ride with proper form. You will be shocked at how fun and non intimidating this class really is.
Cycling is an excellent exercise for shaping and toning the leg muscles. No you will not get bulky legs. However, with regular participation you will love the way your butt, core and legs take shape.

No, but flat,stiff soled shoes work best. Athletic shoes that are lightweight with flexible soles are not recommended as they can cause foot pain if used to often.
